We reserve the right to modify the following Privacy Policy and License information at any time.

Privacy Policy

  • We collect and store your email address as part of your registration for our service.
  • We collect but we do not store your billing data; this information is handled only by our payment service providers.
  • We do not share your email address or any other personal details with other companies to market to you. We do provide your email address to our own service providers (e.g. our payment service providers and email service providers), but only in the normal course of using these services (e.g. to process your payment).
  • We will send you transactional email to communicate about payment, service and account issues. You may not “opt out” of these emails except by canceling your account. You may email us at info@csjumpstartr.com to cancel your account entirely.
  • We will also send you marketing / outreach email to keep you informed about our offerings. You may “opt out” of these emails at any time via an unsubscribe link included in all such emails.
  • CSJumpstartr.com makes use of web browser “cookies” to record your account login status during your use of the site.

Terms of Service and License

  • When you register for a CSJumpstartr membership, you receive a license to access the CSJumpstartr service and associated content served from our website (csjumpstartr.com), which includes the CSJumpstartr code editor, project templates, and electronic documents (the “materials”).
  • For a free membership, your license is granted for 14 days. For a paid membership, your license is granted for as long as CSJumpstartr, LLC, maintains the CSJumpstartr service. CSJumpstartr, LLC, reserves the right to discontinue providing the CSJumpstartr service and materials at any time. Should we do so, we will make our best faith effort to provide paid customers with a downloadable version of the materials.
  • A CSJumpstatrtr license is granted to one individual, and the service and materials may be used by that individual and immediate family.
  • CSJumpstartr, LLC, reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, a license with or without notice.
  • All of the materials are the property of, and copyrighted by, CSJumpstartr, LLC, and may not be redistributed without express permission. Permission is explicitly granted to do the following: print the PDF materials for personal use; and upload completed CSJumpstartr Scratch projects to the Scratch website.
  • CSJumpstartr, LLC, reserves the right to make the CSJumpstartr service inaccessible for maintenance or any other purpose at any time and for any duration. We will make our best faith efforts to minimize such “down times” and to provide advance notice via service announcements.
  • The CSJumpstartr code editor was developed by CSJumpstartr, LLC, independently of the MIT Scratch Team, which produces the Scratch programming language and online community. See http://scratch.mit.edu. The source code for the CSJumpstartr code editor is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GNU GPL) v2.0. Source code for the CSJumpstartr code editor can be downloaded from our github repository, github.com/CSJumpstartr.

  • Although we test the service and materials extensively on a variety of web browsers and platforms, CSJumpstartr, LLC, provides no warranty, express or implied, regarding the fitness of the service or materials for any purpose. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
